Music Theory for Young People Online
Group Class
There are four levels of group lessons that incorporate sight-singing, rhythms, music theory, ear training, vocal techniques and more musical elements in a fun and integrated way that students will learn powerful musical language through playfulness, the best way to learn! The entire class will be taught in English.
Instructor:
Julie Li, faculty member of Suffolk County Community College, Faith Bible Seminary and NY Children’s Choir for Christ. Julie is a vibrant teacher with 30 years of music teaching experience.
Time: 12 weeks of one hour lesson every Saturday 11:00-12:00pm
Starting Date: 1/10/2021.
Tuition:$180 plus text book $16.99
Students:
6-16 year old young people with all levels of musical ability. There will be a short interview to determine each student’s class level.

Online Drum Lesson
Small Group Class
Group drum lessons taught by Franklin Stix Brown. Students of all levels with drum set or simply drum sticks will be equipped with solid drum techniques. There are 3 levels of group lessons that incorporate basic rhythmic patterns, paradiddles, metronome discipline and music structure analysis.
Instructor:
Franklin Stix Brown started playing drums at his home church and studied music at SUNY Purchase College receiving a BA in Drums. He has played Drums for legendary group Ashford & Simpson(R&B) Richard D'Abreau Jr. (Gospel Jazz) and Sonya Johnson (Gospel)
Time: 12 weeks of one hour lesson every Sunday between 2:30-3:30PM
Starting Date: 1/10/2021.

Students:
All people more than eight years old with all levels of musical ability. There will be a short interview to determine each student’s class level.

Private Piano Lesson
Instructor:
Trained by classical piano Professor from the Juilliard Music School. 12 years of teaching experience. Teaching classical piano performance skills, obtaining piano certification.15 years of church music ministry. Invited by multiple New York Chinese churches for leading choir and worship team training and as the pianist.
